I have lusted over the YSL lipsticks for absolutely ages, but could never quite bring myself to fork over £24 on a lipstick, considering my collection is quite large as it is. However, whilst over in Cyprus, we had the perk with our job that one company we worked with gave us Debenhams vouchers every month, and I saved up a fair amount to splurge at the end of the season. However again, I was grimacing at the fact these lipsticks cost 33 euros each, but I let myself, I mean, look how beautiful!
And, I will say right now, I regret nothing! Not only is the packaging to die for, but the colour and texture (and everything) about these lipsticks are top notch! For my first purchase, I chose the YSL Rouge Volupte Shine in shade Fuchsia In Rage 19 as I am a massive fan of bold lips. The glossy effect it gives, I feel, is such a classy one, and however ridiculous it sounds, you can tell and feel you have an expensive lip product on. It glides oh so easily over your lips and has quite a long wear on it!
The shade comes out a little more purple-shaded than it looks in the pictures, and I find myself reaching for this lipstick almost every day. However much I tell myself 'have some variety in what lipstick you wear Sophie, you have hundreds' I can't stop choosing this one.
