River Island Loves

All Clothing - River Island
Red Velvet boots - Rocket Dog or New Look
My Necklace - Miss Selfridge
My Earrings - Primark

Myself and mother went for a little stroll around Swindon town center today to look for homey things to go in my family's newly cleaned house. However it may have turned solely into a shopping trip. Maybe.
Still having not been paid I had a little cry inside every time I found something wonderful (which always happens when you have no money!) Especially when I arrived at River Island!

I've never been the biggest River Island fan as, although I am a little out-going with my sense of style, their clothing has always been a little TOO out-there for me. However today, I found myself wanting everything they had in! So I had to take myself a few cheeky dressing-room snaps, to remind myself what I HAVE to purchase when I receive payment.

As we all know, burgundy is a massive colour this season and when I spotted this super soft cardigan I fell in love! It had tiny little golden beaded studs all over it, and more-so on the cuffs. However, it was £35, which I though was a little steep, but maybe that's just me. Please make it £25 River Island, please.

This Floral skater skirt I also fell in love with. This print and colours are gorgeous and I have had a real big thing for skirts, and especially skater skirts lately. I feel they are really complimentary on my figure. Actually, my mum bought this for me because I kept repeating how much I loved it, I love her!

These Velvet Rocket Dog boots weren't actually in River Island but I found them in Treds for £40 and were the ones from my wish list! Pay day come soon.

And Finally this adorable Pleather skate skirt. I have been after one of these for ages and this one was such a fab fit! If you do not yet own one of these, I suggest you go grab one up! They are so cute and fashionable  and definitely in my good books at the mo!

Extremely sorry for the essay, Sophie xxxx

Cheeky trip home

Now, firstly, I apologise for this poorly laid-out post. I have absolutely no idea how to blog using only the iPhone app as this is my first time. Secondly I apologise for the lack of posts lately. I took a spontaneous trip back home to visit my family and best friend and have no computer!

On Sunday, myself and my brother and dad went to watch our Rugby team, London Irish, play. Disappointing results but I won't bore you all with rugby talk.

I am visiting until Thursday however I am reluctant to leave, I get super homesick when back in London. But I am so glad I've been spending quality time with my mum, even if we have just been cleaning the house.

I also let my best friend do my Halloween nails, and considering this was the first time she's ever attempted nail art, I think she didn't do a too shabby job!!

I'll be back to post normally on Thursday and also put up my giveaway! (Hopefully.. Anyone else meant to have been paid a week ago and still have an empty bank account?! :'()

Raspberry Reasons

Now we've broken into the wonderful season that is Autumn, I think it's time to whack out the burgundy! Well, this nail shade is actually 'Raspberry', but just dark-reddy shades in general are a must!
I am a MASSIVE lover of Barry M nail paints as they come in such wonderful colours, the only thing about them is they take a while to dry, but when they do they look fab!

The Nail Enamel with shimmery bits in I've coated the Barry M colour with was actually picked up for me by my nan, at a little boot fair or somewhere, as nan's do. Which is a pain really, as I love it and now do not know where I can repurchase! Luckily, she got it for me in both a pinky shade AND a silver, win!

I can't believe that'd I've gained so many followers already, it's incredible! As you all know, I was planning a 100 follower giveaway, which I still am, as soon as I get paid :)
I get paid any day in the next few days, and when I do, it's straight to the shops to pick up some lovely buys that all of you beautiful bloggers deserve!

Red and Black Ballerina

Dress - Dorothy Perkins - £20
Ring - Dorothy Perkins  - £1
Necklace - Dorothy Perkins - £2
Nails - Barry M Raspberry £2.99
Shoes - Primark - £8

Last weekend I went to visit my family and my best friend for my brother's birthday. However for me, home trips always turn into shopping trips. Going to town with my mum and best friend is always lethal, even though it isn't that a big a town.

This dress is one my friend picked up, and I was all 'I'll try it on with you!' I ended up buying the beauty. Well, I say me, my beautiful boyfriend paid as he's lovely with surprises like that! I think it's beautiful as the red-black contrast works and the skirt of it puffs out in like a 1950's style. I also love the ribbon waist.

The ring my mum pointed out, as you know, I am a massive pug lover, but am aso a MASSIVE rabbit lover. I'll maybe introduce you to my gorgeous late bunny Humphrey one day.. (He was bigger than a dog!) Anyways, for £1 I could hardly say no, it's way too cute!!

I bought a few other bits and pieces too, which I think I'll do in my next post, as I am still new to blogging and don't want to run out of things to blog about already!

And again, thank you all so much for following me! It really does make me grin like Cheshire Cat! Who's feeling a 100 followers giveaway? I know I am! :)

Amazon Wish List

For all item links click - Here

Now, I know I have recently done a post on my 'October Wish List' so I am really sorry for the repetitivity (if that is even a word!) However, my boyfriend has been begging me for DAYS, especially today, to make an Amazon wish list. He claims it's for my Christmas and Birthday present ideas, but also claims he knows what he is getting me, suspicious huh? ;)

I know he will not get me a Macbook Air. Or a Canon. And probably not the Dr Martins. But a girl can dream. And since this is a wish list for amazon, this list is missing out all of my clothing and beauty desires. This is more of a 'things' list.

I have loved baking since I was a little little girl and thought this cupcake maker was the sweetest thing! Along with these adorable cupcake cases (£5.99 for 250, crazy cheap!!)

The Catcher and the rye is one of my favourite books of all time however I still do not own a copy and have been meaning to pick it up for some time!

Having recently acquired a 3GS iPhone I swore I could only find iPhone 4 and 5 cases ANYWHERE. So I jumped over the moon when I found these 3 adorable ones on amazon, especially the 'Pugs and kisses' one.

If you haven't realised already, I am a MASSIVE pug fanatic.

The DKNY 'Be Delicious' Perfume was my first perfume my mum ever bought for me, and has been 'THAT' perfume for me ever since. It has that sweet smell of apples that I can never get over!

The other things kind of speak for themselves, nail art brushes and pens and a nail varnish stand. Studs, eyelashes, you get my drift.

So, if anyone fancies sending me and early birthday/Christmas present over my way feel more than free to ;)

Multi-Pastel Bobble

I would being lying if I said I wasn't nervous, as this is my first official 'outfit post'. Although, it isn't so much an outfit post as a 'hat and nails post'. This is purely for the fact that, being cameraless, these are taken on an iPad, and using timer is an issue.

Firstly, I'd like to start with a 'how awesome is this hat?!' I found it in a charity shop a few days ago for £1.50!! Bargain! I love the multicoloured pastel wool used and the huge bobble on the top. It reminds me of that 'special wool' we used to be allowed to use occasionally for crafts in Primary school.

The lipstick I am wearing in a hot-pink shade in unlabelled packaging. I picked it up at a Car-boot sale a few weeks ago (It was completely sealed, don't worry!) I liked the colour, and still do, however it does feel a bit 'wet' on my lips and comes off quite quickly.

I painted my nails using Barry M 'pink silver glitter - 337' and Models Own 'Ibiza Mix - Hk04' on the thumbs. You have to use several layers of the Ibiza mix if you're not layering it on top of another colour, which I haven't done properly here as I was running out of time whilst doing them. Whoops.

And lastly, the polo shirt I am wearing, am practically LIVE in nowadays!! I was going through super old clothes my Mum had from years and years ago that she wanted to put in a car-boot sale and found it, needless to say, I nabbed this one up before it went in!

Thank you to all of my new followers since my last post, it means so much to me and I'm so glad I'm getting into blogging!

October Wish List

Having just started a new job, I do not get paid for another month therefore, am a very poor girly. So I do what the best of us can only do, lust over beautiful things on the internet. So here's my October Wish list!

1. This beautiful Leather Look Skirt is from Lavish Alice and is £20. I have been lusting over this ever since it entered their site, about a month or two ago. Considering that I have had a gander at this skirt every day since I first laid eyes on it, you'd have thought I'd have somehow pulled together the brilliant price of £20 to buy it. But trust me, I'm that poor I cannot. However, it will be my #1 thing to buy as soon as I can!

2. I have literally only just come across this Romwe Dress since it's not a site I tend to visit every day. No reasons why, since they have beautiful things. I am in love with skater-style dresses as I find they really compliment my figure as I'm not the skinniest of girls, and I need to try and embrace my curves with what I wear, otherwise I just look like a potato.  I also adore Collars as I think they're a simple yet beautiful detail to any dress or shirt.

3. This Denim Shirt is just my kind of shirt! Denim and a dark acidy kind of wash. However, I haven't been a biggest fan of studded collars as they seem to be on every girl I pass by in the street. But that doesn't mean I don't think they're not great on some things, but only the right things!

4. This Skeleton Key necklace is both pretty yet semi edgy. Can give any outfit a slight gothic look.

5. I have wanted a scrabble tile ring for YEARS! And once again, I mention I am too poor to even afford £2 on a ring. Okay, that's a lie, that's the average I spend on wine per day, but still. I will get round to purchasing this on pay day.

6. Oh my dear God aren't these beautiful! I found these Burgundy Velvet Boots on the New Look website but they are in fact Rocket Dog. I never spend enough money on shoes, I have a fair few pairs but they're always cheapy ones from Primark. Not that I don't love Primark, but they fall apart after a few months. I would love to just go all out and buy a buy that cost my £60, not £5. Now, these boots have everything I love about shoes- Laces, ankle support, Burgundy and VELVET. Anyone who knows me knows my wardrobe consists of far too much velvet, but that can just be my one little wardrobe vice!

Rainy days

Hair band - Newlook
Crop-top - Newlook
Maxi skirt and belt - Newlook

Having had to make a career move and leave my beloved job and discount, I thought a last minute shopping spree at Newlook was in order. I am in absolute love with these cute little crop-tops that have come to light, however, I am very body conscious so always make sure to wear them with something high waisted. Maxi skirts are a fave to high my pasty legs and stay comfortable!

Today we went and had a pier day. Spent way too much money on the 2p slot machines, and it was pouring with rain, but overall, a lovely day!
