Dotty P's Sale Bling | Jewellery Haul

Now, I'm not one to often go into Dorothy Perkins, however, when I do, I zoom straight on over to the jewellery section, and in particular, the sale jewellery. If you know me, you'll know that I rarely buy full price jewellery and at a push, if I do, it'll be from Primark. I just don't see the point in paying £15 for a necklace when it'll probably break or tarnish or get ruined in some way. So I always purchase my jewellery in the sale but usually from either Dorothy Perkins or Topshop, as I love their jewellery the most. So, now to share a few pieces I have picked up over the past month or so!

White and Gold Spike Necklace - WAS £8.50 - Bought for £2
Gold Chunky Necklace - WAS £15 - Bought for £1.70
White Roped Gold Spike Necklace - WAS £15 - Bought for £4
White, Gold and Silver Chunky Necklace - WAS £15 - Bought for £1.50
Gold Leaf Hoops - WAS £5 - Bought for £1
3 Pack Glitter Studs - WAS £6.50 - Bought for £2
Dangling Square Triangle Earrings - WAS £7.50 - Bought for £2

Sorry for constant shots of my boobies, I never said this blog was PG13. It also looks like I have food down my front, I don't think I did... Awks. Anyways, I think I can safely say, there's no harm in popping into Dorothy Perkins on your lunch break, as you'll probably find a bargain!
Also, sorry I haven't blogged for a few days, I planned a few wish-listy posts / ideas for Christmas themed outfits, but my Pixelmator free trial ran out, and I purchased it on my old laptop, so I'm currently struggling with finding a decent (free) program to use for the moment. Any suggestions?

Have you picked up any good sale jewellery items lately?

Red and Black Ballerina

Dress - Dorothy Perkins - £20
Ring - Dorothy Perkins  - £1
Necklace - Dorothy Perkins - £2
Nails - Barry M Raspberry £2.99
Shoes - Primark - £8

Last weekend I went to visit my family and my best friend for my brother's birthday. However for me, home trips always turn into shopping trips. Going to town with my mum and best friend is always lethal, even though it isn't that a big a town.

This dress is one my friend picked up, and I was all 'I'll try it on with you!' I ended up buying the beauty. Well, I say me, my beautiful boyfriend paid as he's lovely with surprises like that! I think it's beautiful as the red-black contrast works and the skirt of it puffs out in like a 1950's style. I also love the ribbon waist.

The ring my mum pointed out, as you know, I am a massive pug lover, but am aso a MASSIVE rabbit lover. I'll maybe introduce you to my gorgeous late bunny Humphrey one day.. (He was bigger than a dog!) Anyways, for £1 I could hardly say no, it's way too cute!!

I bought a few other bits and pieces too, which I think I'll do in my next post, as I am still new to blogging and don't want to run out of things to blog about already!

And again, thank you all so much for following me! It really does make me grin like Cheshire Cat! Who's feeling a 100 followers giveaway? I know I am! :)

Multi-Pastel Bobble

I would being lying if I said I wasn't nervous, as this is my first official 'outfit post'. Although, it isn't so much an outfit post as a 'hat and nails post'. This is purely for the fact that, being cameraless, these are taken on an iPad, and using timer is an issue.

Firstly, I'd like to start with a 'how awesome is this hat?!' I found it in a charity shop a few days ago for £1.50!! Bargain! I love the multicoloured pastel wool used and the huge bobble on the top. It reminds me of that 'special wool' we used to be allowed to use occasionally for crafts in Primary school.

The lipstick I am wearing in a hot-pink shade in unlabelled packaging. I picked it up at a Car-boot sale a few weeks ago (It was completely sealed, don't worry!) I liked the colour, and still do, however it does feel a bit 'wet' on my lips and comes off quite quickly.

I painted my nails using Barry M 'pink silver glitter - 337' and Models Own 'Ibiza Mix - Hk04' on the thumbs. You have to use several layers of the Ibiza mix if you're not layering it on top of another colour, which I haven't done properly here as I was running out of time whilst doing them. Whoops.

And lastly, the polo shirt I am wearing, am practically LIVE in nowadays!! I was going through super old clothes my Mum had from years and years ago that she wanted to put in a car-boot sale and found it, needless to say, I nabbed this one up before it went in!

Thank you to all of my new followers since my last post, it means so much to me and I'm so glad I'm getting into blogging!

Going for gold!

The last week I have managed to snap up some amazing sale buys, especially in the jewellery section.
Since living a 5-7 minute walk from town, it's so easy just to get up and have a look around (also lethal though, if you ask me, since I don't yet own a money tree.)
Now, I never have been, and probably never WILL be a silver person. Jewellery wise, I have always worn gold. Don't ask why, that's just how it's always been. Now, as we are in light of a very 'gold-themed-England' due to the Olympics, I thought I'd show you the few pieces I've snapped up this week

Dorothy Perkins - £2 down from £16

Dorothy Perkins - £2 down from £10

Primark - £1 down from £4

Miss Selfridge - £1 down from £10

Topshop - £3 down from £16

Those that know me know that I am an extreme high-street shopper, but most of all, an extreme sales shopper. Never having had too much money, I can never quite find the point in spending £12 or so in a necklace, which is the going rate these days. So I get all giddy when I find buys like these.
Anyone else found any bargain jewellery lately?
